Ms. Loius Chord, Director Social Development World Bank along with World Bank Team paid visit to Right to Public Services Commission Head office.
Muhammad Mushtaq Jadun, Chief Commissioner Right to Public Services Commission briefed the Director about the working and performance of Commission. Briefing focused on development of Community and official forums, complaint redressal mechanism, gender issues and extension of services to Merged areas.
Ms. Loius also paid visit to Rasai (Access) Call Center 1800 which is in testing phase and would be operationalized by next month.
The spirit and aim of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Right to Public Services Act, 2014 and establishment of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Right to Public Services Commission is to enable the citizens of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to avail time-bound, notified public services from public entities in a transparent and efficient manner as a matter of right and to hold the public functionaries accountable, for lapses such as refusal, delay, deficiency or lack of transparency in providing such public services.
